You can, but liquid charging is highly recommended instead. Here is why vapor charging a whole bottle causes issues:
Unstable Operation: The refrigerant will fractionate. At first, the compressor gets high-pressure gas (causing high discharge temperature and motor amps). Later, it gets low-capacity gas, causing unstable system behavior.
Slow Recovery: It takes considerable time for the system to remix the fractionated gas back to its correct composition.
Efficiency: If you are using the entire bottle, charging as a liquid is much faster and safer for the system.
